Daniel A. Shea O.D.

Following graduation from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 1968 with degrees in Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry, Dr. Shea opened his practice here in Wichita. Not being one to just sit back after graduating, Dr. Shea has won awards several times for the number of continuing education classes he takes.

He served on the Sedgwick County Health Planning Committee for eight years, and was an SRS medical advisor for ten years. Currently Dr. Shea is an adjunct professor at Southern College of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Kansas Optometric Association and Wichita Optometric Society.

Dr Shea retired in December of 2007.

Anh M. Tran O.D.

Dr. Tran graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1994 from WSU with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She then attended Northeastern University College of Optometry, and again graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1998. Dr. Tran joined Shea Vision Assoicates in June 1998, but her relationship with the practice goes back to her days as a student at WSU when she worked here as an optometric assistant.

She is a member of The American and Kansas Optometric Associations, The Wichita Optometric Society and College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Born in Vietnam, she speaks Vietnamese fluently.

Dr. Tran enjoys all aspects of optometry and seeing patients of all ages. She has a true passion for children's visual problems, and we can thank her for expanding the services we offer by establishing a vision therapy program.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Tran enjoys gardening, home improvement projects and spending time with her husband and their children.

Jacob D. Shaw O.D.

Dr. Shaw graduated in 1999 from Missouri State University Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Bachelor of Science-Biology. He completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry in 2003, once again graduating Magna Cum Laude. While a student, Dr. Shaw traveled to Costa Ricato participate with the Student Volunteers for Optometric Services for Humanity program, to provide eyecare to the underserved.

Prior to joining Shea Vision Associates in 2004, Dr. Shaw worked in the practice of Kessler Eyecare. He enjoys practicing the full scope of his profession, seeing patients of all ages, including toddlers and infants.

Dr. Shaw is a member of the American and Kansas Optometric Associations and the Wichita Optometric Society.

Dr. Shaw grew up in Southeast Kansas, one of four boys. He and his wife Kris were married in 1997 and have one daughter. He enjoys outdoor activities from landscaping to frisbee-golf and camping.

Bradford D Majher O.D.

Dr. Majher is a native of Arkansas City, Kansas.  He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from WSU.While attending WSU, Dr. Majher was an active member of the golf team.  Dr. Majher earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree in May 2001 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. During his optometric education he received several clinical skill awards and graduated with honors, Suma Cum Laude.

Dr. Majher joined Shea Vision Associates in July 2001, but his relationship with the practice goes back to 1995 when he worked here as an optometric assistant while attending WSU.

Dr. Majher enjoys all aspects of optometry for the entire family.  He does have a special interest in working with children of all ages.  He has a devoted interest in helping children who struggle in school because of visual insufficiences related to focusing and/or eye teaming.  Dr. Majher offers vision therapy in the office to help remedy these types of problems.  He also uses vision therapy to help atheletes achieve  maximum performance.

Dr. Majher  enjoys golfing, fishing, listening to music.and spending time with his family.
